Empowering Students to Globally Connect is an opportunity for teachers to discuss how to engage their students in a real-world project that will require students to apply their engineering/ problem-solving skills to create original solutions to help others across the globe. After attending this session you will walk away with an outline of how to "organically grow" a project for students that will include opportunities for cross-curriculum development including art, culinary, engineering, technology, audiovisual, global communication, music, and social-emotional development. This discussion will include the usage of Skype in the classroom, PTC CREO Parametric (Industry Grade CAD Software), 3D Printing, Twitter, and the Adobe Suite for Audio/Visual Editing.
